Administrative Core
To provide organizational structure and leadership to efficiently coordinate activities between the cores and across RPs to support and create a culture of innovation, translation, and bidirectional community engagement to benefit the community, state, peer SRP centers, NIEHS, and other stakeholders.
Community Engagement Core
CEC will develop and sustain a Community-Academic Partnership between the ISRC and residents in the Rantoul community to empower community-led public health PFAS and cancer risk reduction, prevention and intervention decisions and actions. The proposed activities and products are designed to extend to Champaign County and serve as statewide and national resources.
Research Experience and Training Coordination Core
To train the next generation of scientists and thought leaders in team science and leadership and communications skills to tackle broad environmental health problems and policies affecting communities.
Data Management and Analysis Core
To provide data management, processing, analysis, and training resources for Center researchers to effectively capture and utilize data products and maximize Center research outputs by deploying FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reproducible) data sharing principles from the ground up.
Analytical Services Core
To train ISRC researchers in state-of-the-art instrumentation, develop novel tools, enhance collaborations, and coordinate sharing and standardization of compounds, protocols, and samples.
